Detroit Table Talk is Detroit Choice Awards 2023 nominees. We are a fun, intellectual, honest podcast where we are transparent. We are willing to have the conversation about life on all levels where a variety of topics are covered. Issues that come across our table are from the metropolitan Detroit area. FEW WORDS ABOUT Carmen

Carmen Evans, is highly sought after as a mentor and life coach, in addition to being an author of an amazing book, “Covenant Relationships: Understanding what God desires for us.” She is the founder and president of Fresh Wind Consultants, and Youth Resource Centers LLC, which provides spiritual counseling and life/educational coaching services and is based in the City of Southfield, Michigan. She is considered by many to be a wonderful friend, mentor, motivator, and a woman of great loyalty and character. She has received endless acknowledgements and testimonials of how lives were impacted through her positive influence. Carmen started the Detroit Table Talk Podcast in April 2022, where she and her co-host Drow discuss issues surrounding the metropolitian Detroit area. She’s also known for her powerful accurate words of prophecy and prayers of intercession. She has a strong gift of discernment and an anointing as a seer. Carmen has a heart for nurturing and encouraging individuals to become all that God has created them to be. In doing so, she established a Christian Singles Group known as S.O.A.R (Singles Ordained Anointed to Reign). Clearly Carmen’s heart is for the youth as demonstrated by her efforts, time and money invested in their forward progression, well-being and attainment of the necessary life skills to be successful. Through her volunteerism and mentoring with different organizations throughout the City of Detroit, she has helped sponsor, fund and guide activities for high school seniors graduating and assisted in enrollment in higher institutions of learning. Carmen has attended parent-teacher conferences and graduations for students, drove students to and from libraries, checked on them while in class to ensure they were on task, and even negotiated with teachers to allow students the opportunity to make up school work so they could graduate on time with their class. Carmen has brought groceries for students, paid for books, and provided support for students to participate in many extracurricular activities that otherwise, they may not have been privy too. Carmen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, with a concentration in Criminal Justice. Currently she is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Community Care and Counseling specializing in Trauma. Carmen is a single mother of two grown young men, her eldest David and youngest Vincent and two handsome grandsons, Christopher Amir and Vincent
